In some locations in Naija it was common for a single man to have more than one wife. How do you feel about this? Do you currently have more than one wife? What qualities would you look for in your first wife as we all know that she manages certain aspects of the day to day living ie which wife her husband will sleep with on which night etc.

Hello am Ijuma Nina i am not k with this issue of polygamy cos it brings disorder and disagreement in the house and the entire family. Personally, i am not sure and i would not want to conduct a polygamous marriage.so i can't really tell you about any qualities in a first wife or any other. Thanks  |

Ha!!! Interesting variety of responses. This begs the question - Multiple wives vs Polygamy, multiple wives vs more than one wife. What are we talking about? One ought to have multiple wives/husbands, be in a polygamy/polyandry relationship, have more than one wife/husband first before one can be able to "assess the consequences". How do you "KNOW" when you have not been in any of the above relationships? Assuming??? Agadi |
