Watched the movie 3ice. Question:   Did Dr. Nicholas Garrigan (Idi Amin Scottish personal physician) really exist or was he a fictional character;? At the start of the movie it said that it "was inspired by real events".  I "Wikepedia" Dr. Nicholas Garrigan and can't find a thing about him. I really thought the movie was going to portray Idi Amin as one of the most evil leaders of all times.  Instead it was all about a white man went to africa screwing with lots of black females.  Anyway, don't get me wrong Forrest Whittaker did a superb job and really deserved the oscar win.

Who knows, there are some embellishments in movies to make them more liked than the actual stories being told.

I usually watch the making of the movies and the director's comments. he said that Nicolas was not a real character. He was brought into the story to make it interesting. I loved Forrest Whittaker in this movie. He said it was very exhausting playing that role. He said the attitude he had to portray was very tiring for him and he was glad when it was over.
I trip out on how he would get mad at Nicolas when things would go wrong. He Huh?  would say "Nicolas tell me what to do".   Huh? Cheesy

It is a subtitled movie, but I liked  Apocolypto.
It kept me on the edge of my seat.
